Workshops for kindling kindness and inspiring action.
For most kids, creativity comes easily. Whether it’s imaginary play, crafts or sports, the most creative activities often start with a what-if question: What if I used my hands instead of this paint brush? What if we made a fort out of those boxes? What if we had five players instead of four?
So we asked ourselves, What if we applied the same child-like creativity to thinking about kindness? Wouldn't it b nice if by playing around with possibilities, we turned our ideas into real actions? That’s what WIBN Creativity Programs are all about.
Our programs are geared for adults and kids of all ages. Ideal for families, schools, spiritual and civic groups, parent/child play groups, common interest groups, and more. We start with our core workshop and build from there depending on the age and interests of the participants.
B a Link in the Chain of Kindness™ - Our Core Workshop - Inspired by the Goethe quote, “Kindness is the golden chain by which society is bound together,” the workshop opens your mind to the connection between nice thoughts, kind deeds and the power we all have to make a difference. Working in pairs or small groups, we’ll link ideas to real actions for sharing kindness through a fun, hands-on craft.
WIBN Project: Positive™ - This workshop, designed for intermediate, middle, and high school students and adults, picks up where our core workshop leaves off. Individuals or teams bring the brainstorming to real life situations over the course of four to six weeks. Journaling, planning and sharing lead to the manifestation of a real project. Project size is no object! Positive change can happen in small and big ways. This is the program that jumpstarts your desire to “b the change.”
The WIBN Time Capsule Project™ - This “off the shelf” program is designed for schools and groups looking for more of a do-it-yourself experience that builds a sense of community and accomplishment. Combining principles of our core workshop and Project: Positive™, you’ll receive a time capsule canister, containing materials for brainstorming and project planning as well as tips for enhancing the group experience. You can use a WIBN Time Capsule for each project you take on, or keep one going for a year.
